The Members of the Latin American Police Association offer this scholarship to assist College students of Hispanic descent
in achieving their educational goals.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
| 1. Be of Hispanic heritage (one parent fully Hispanic); |
| 2. Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not |
| expired); |
| 3. Be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at a U.S. accredited college or university, and currently have |
| a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). |
To apply, download and complete the application and submit the following:
| 1. The completed application; |
| 2. a copy of your current transcript and GPA certification Form; |
| 3. letter of recommendation from a school teacher or advisor. |
