Purpose |
|

The
Members of the Latin American Police Association offer
this scholarship to assist Hispanic College students in achieving their
educational goals. |
|
Scholarship Criteria |
|
|
Applicants
must meet the following criteria: |
|
1. |
Be of Hispanic heritage (one parent fully
Hispanic); |
|
2. |
Be a graduating high school senior (class of
2009), who will be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at a
U.S. accredited college or university for the 2009-2010 college academic
year (enrollment is verified
in the fall of 2009), and currently have a minimum cumulative grade
point average (GPA) of 3.0 on
a 4.0 scale or higher (or equivalent); |

3. |
demonstrate leadership qualities, as well as community involvement; |

To
apply, complete the attached application and submit the following: |

1. |
The completed application; |
|
2. |
a copy of your current transcript and GPA certification Form; |
|
3. |
letter of recommendation from a school teacher
or advisor. |
