Purpose |

The
Members of the Latin American Police Association offer
this scholarship to assist Hispanic College students in achieving their
educational goals. |
|
Eligibility Criteria |
|
|
Applicants
must meet the following criteria: |
|
1. |
Be of Hispanic heritage (one parent fully
Hispanic); |
|
2. |
Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired); |
|
3. |
Be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at a U.S. accredited college or university, and currently have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).

To
apply, download and complete the application and submit the following: |

The completed application; |

2. |
a copy of your current transcript and GPA certification Form; |
|
3. |
letter of recommendation from a school teacher
or advisor. |
