LAPA will be sponsoring Casa Catalina with its Annual Easter Food Drive on April 8, 2017. Casa Catalina is a “not-for-profit” organization located in the Back of the Yards community. They provide families in the neighborhood with basic neccessities, such as food and clothing. Casa Catalina is located at 4537 S. Ashland Avenue, Chicago, IL.
In 2016, LAPA accomplished their goal of purchasing 50 hams for the food drive. This year LAPA would like to surpass last years total. LAPA is in search of contributors or volunteers for the food drive. Anyone interested can contact Alfred Bedia at (773) 957-3819.
Donations can be made on our websites homepage or by CLICKING HERE. All proceeds collected will go towards buying food. The food will be given by Casa Catalina to the less fortunate in the spirit of giving for Easter.
